Thompson Variety

back

A popular item is the extended front grip.  This is typically 1.2-2 inches longer and helps offset the looks of the long barrel on the semi autos.

The 1927 is kind of a strange beast.  M1A1 shaped butt stock, but top actuator like a 1921 or 1928.  I like to build a variation that resembles the proper shape butt stock for a 21/28 but still screws into place on a standard 1927 frame.

While original Thompsons and WW2 guns have 1/2 inch grip mounts, West Hurley, Numrich and Kahr guns may have either 1/2 or 3/4.  Front grips can of course be made for either size.
